Quite why this appealed to me I have no idea as anyone who uses Logic will tell you the Klopfgeist metronome instrument sounds absolutely horrible in its raw state - it’s not even a good metronome sound! Furthermore only the most basic version of Logic was to be used - this being a while ago (2004 mb?) it was 5.5.1, so only the (very limited) plug-ins that came with that version were legal. The basic idea was to create a track using only the Klopfgeist metronome instrument in Logic as a sound source. This track was created for a non-serious competition over at the now defunct Sonikmatter Forum. Listening back to some old stuff the other day and I came across this track I produced:
